"A Rose for Viki"

"A Rose for Viki" was painted in memory of my daughter Viki, who died from recurring breast cancer.
It is my desire that 20% of the sale of this giclee be donated to the "Look Good...Feel Better", program sponsored by the American Cancer Society. (See ad in Shape magazine, May 2009 edition)
Read the description of the program below. I hope that you will take a moment to call or e-mail me about the giclee, and how your donation will accounted for by the American Cancer Society. It can be made into several sizes and printed on watercolor paper or canvas. The size of the giclee and if it's printed on watercolor paper or canvas determines the price.

The reason I choose this program is that Viki was a Master Cosmotologist.
This program teaches women how to deal with the way their appearance changes while taking chemo and radiation. A two hour workshop is held by caring professionals teaching, Look Good...Feel Better, techniques concerning hair loss, skin care, nail care and makeup. This program is a free service. A free complimentary makeup bag to be used during the workshop and taken home is donated by leading cosmetic companys. |
